The Account Manager is learning how to apply professional account management concepts. Under direct supervision, applies organizational policies and procedures to resolve routine issues and customer inquiries. Works on problems of moderate scope and complexity. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • The Account Manager is developing skills to act as the primary liaison between customers, sales staff, subcontractors, and operations. Sound judgment, tact, discretion, close attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task are essential characteristics. The ability to learn quickly and a willingness to welcome new challenges:
    • Under direct supervision establishes project progress, prepares estimates, reviews construction plans and specifications.
    • Trains on all aspects of the bidding and installation process for projects, entering bids into private company portals.
    • Under direct supervision, enters and updates projects for Key Account Managers, assists with follow-ups.
    • Creating relationships with subcontractors. Negotiating pricing, vetting and selecting new subcontractors, ensuring payment are not affecting the progress of the project.
    • Problem solving and resolution skills, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
    • Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships.
    • Knowledge of procedures and standard practices within the department that may affect other areas.
    • Ability to perform detailed work with accuracy.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned by Manager.

This position is on-site at our Riverside, California office. 

Job Qualifications:

Required skills and experience

High school diploma or GED Required
Education: bachelor’s degree in related area and or experience in related industry Preferred
Minimum of 1 years of experience Required
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, understand their needs, and convey information clearly Required
Excellent computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office 365 applications Required

Job Description:

Highly experienced position focusing on identifying and engaging potential customers, presenting products or services, closing deals, and maintaining client relationships.

 

Strategic Sales Manager will work to meet yearly individual and departmental sales goals and will utilize all available resources to coordinate with all necessary departments to ensure customer satisfaction is at its highest so long-term relationships are developed:

  • Prospecting: Identify potential customers and businesses to target sales opportunities. This may involve researching leads, attending events, or making cold calls.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to offer suitable products or services.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products or services and be able to effectively communicate their features and benefits to potential customers.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver sales presentations or demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing how the product or service meets their needs.
  • Sales Goals: Set and achieve sales targets and goals, often on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, depending on the organization’s goals.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate with clients to close sales deals, discussing terms, pricing, and other relevant details to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Closing Sales: Effectively close sales by addressing objections and concerns, handling necessary paperwork, and securing payment.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales results. Generate and submit sales reports to management.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor offerings to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Customer Support: Provide post-sales support, ensuring that customers are satisfied and addressing any issues or questions they may have.
  • Sales Software: Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales tools to manage leads, track progress, and forecast sales.

Job Qualifications:
